This floating stone block is fabricated from 20mm thick silestone quartz slab. The downstands or skirts are mitred and bonded to produce a solid looking block without the weight of a solid piece. The block conceals the sturdy brackets which are required to hold the unit at the required height. The picture shows the piece about to be drilled and the holes for the surface mounted bowls cut by the CNC machine.
